Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), located in Yangling, Shaanxi Province, is supported by the Ministry of Education's "Project 985" and “Project 211”. As one of the leading universities in China, NWAFU was rated as one of the "World's First-rate Universities with First-rate Disciplines". It is the only tertiary education institution in China that offers comprehensive courses in the field of agriculture and forestry and has accumulated more than 6,000 research achievements in various areas. The College of Economics and Management in NWAFU has significant research and teaching experiences in the fields of agricultural economics, rural finance, resource economics and environmental management, poverty and anti-poverty, rural governance and revitalization. Agricultural Economics and Management (AEM) is now a National Key Discipline and ranks 7th in China.
