Curriculum Vitae
Florian Bieberbach is CEO of Stadtwerke München Group (SWM). He joined SWM in 2002, after positions in software development, research and banking. Florian graduated in computer science and management from Technische Universität München (TUM). He holds a doctorate degree in economic sciences from TUM and an MBA in European Utility Management from Jacobs University Bremen.
At TUM School of Management, he serves as an honorary professor for energy markets and received the best teaching award twice. He is also chairman of the energy research institute Forschungsstelle für Energiewirtschaft e.V. (FfE) in Munich and vice president of the German energy industry association BDEW e.V. Florian has been and is a member of various advisory boards, including Agora Energiewende in Berlin and HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
