The 11th HEFagrar PhD Symposium took place on April 29, 2025, at the Technical University of Munich - a platform for young researchers to exchange professional ideas, network, and gain insights into current research on sustainable land-use systems. A wide range of contributions, from basic research to practice-oriented approaches, were presented and discussed.
The Chair of Agricultural Production and Resource Economics was also represented:
- Carina Ober presented her poster on "Farmers' and Consumers' Preferences for Soil Health Improving Business Models", and
- Moritz Ptacek presented his research on "Monetizing the Multifunctionality of Grassland Restoration to Define Restoration Success".
Particularly gratifying: Carina Ober was awarded the Best Elevator Pitch prize for her compelling presentation. Congratulations!
In addition to scientific exchange, the symposium also offered the opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of sustainable land use – and once again demonstrated the value of interdisciplinary networking among young researchers.
