We had the chance to explore Livias hometown, advancing our academic work within a new environment. 

On Thursday afternoon it was all about the PhDs students progress. Yanfei and Veronika presented their current advancements, while Menguyan shared the framework of her PhD. We exchanged about our research, brainstormed on further collaboration as well as further research questions. The day ended with a tasty swiss dinner: Raclette. 

Friday started with a workshop by Livia, sharin tipps and tricks about academic paper writing. In the afternoon, we explored Zürich together, taking part in the Foxtrail challenge and successfully completing it as a team. 

This retreat not only offered valuable academic inspiration but also enhanced team spirit, providing fresh momentum for future research.
