Aktuelles |
We are delighted to announce that Jonas Böschemeier, a doctoral researcher at our chair, has been honored with the Best Student Paper Award at the 19th IAEE European Conference, held in Munich.
The award recognizes the paper “Drawing the Right Lines: Identifying Optimal Bidding Zones for the European Electricity Market,” which tackles how electricity markets should be geographically divided to best balance efficiency, price signals, and grid realities.
The International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) European Conference is one of the leading international gatherings for energy economists, policymakers, and industry experts, bringing together researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments in energy markets and policy. Being selected for the Best Student Paper Award among a highly competitive field of submissions is a significant achievement and a testament to the quality and relevance of this research.
We warmly congratulate Jonas on this outstanding accomplishment and look forward to the continued impact of this research on the ongoing debate around bidding zone configuration in the European electricity market.
The chair extends its thanks to the IAEE conference committee for this recognition and to all colleagues who supported this work.
