At the invitation of the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Professor Sauer attended this year's Farm Business Survey (FBS) Seminar, which took place in London on April 29, 2024. The aim of the one-day conference was to bring together experts from industry, academia and government organizations who use FBS data for their current research and present their findings. During the event, Professor Sauer gave a presentation on "Measuring Economic Resilience at Farm Level".
